Respected Sir I Elvis D'silva a student of Final year engineering from JSCOE sincerely thankyou for the resourceful seminar on .NET technology at our college dated 23/07/09....As per our conversation regarding the .net project after the session and as per your guidance to jot down the problems in the society which can be solved by technology ...we as a group hereby mention below the things that we have thought about.

1) Today with the growing competition in the mobile market and services and with the ever increasing mobile use there are a number of schemes in the mobile traiff plans which keep changing on day to day basis...but the fact remains that the normal user like farmers or people who just use the mobile for attending calls are unable to grasp these plans and even understand them .....for this I.T. can come for the rescue....the thing that can be done is that suscriber should be allowed to use a postpaid card for a month...after this the suscriber will get a bill for this monthly usage....now this bill has the details of the suscriber regarding the incoming calls, outgoing calls, local calls, std calls, calls to same service provider as the suscriber has, calls to other service providers, local sms,std sms....this document will serve as an input for the software we are about to develop..the outcome of this software will be a traiff plan which the suscriber should select best suitable for the suscriber taking into account the suscriber use recorded from the bill

2)Today as the student passes out of his higher secondary education a student is exposed to a wild number of colleges that he has to choose to undertake his/her graduation especially in the field of engineering.....as a result the student who is new to this takes hard efforts for long days browsing the net to gather information about the various colleges offering the course spread across different universities studying their previous cutoffs, institution grades, faculty, campus and so many other things before finally taking down the 45 colleges to be listed in the preference form....this happens to be a tedious task and students end up filling the option form in a hurry and with lack of survey of the colleges..as a result even a meritorious student fails in getting a good one ...this problem can be solved by developing a software wherein the student marksheet will serve as an input document and ouput will be the best 45 colleges the student should enlist in the form at the time of admission.

Sir, we hope our ideas are feasible.....Hoping a positive response.
Your's Sincerely
D'silva Elvis
